WHEN YOU GO ON VACATION
Some Tips as I mentioned before..

One of the times your home is most vulnerable is when it is left empty for an extended period of time.Mail or Newpapers collecting and closed windows in hotter weather.All advertise your absence to a potential burglar.

Have a neighbor check on your home or apartment while you're away.. turning on ligths,radios or TV's and opening and closing windows and curtains, will give your home or apartment the appearance of someone is home.

If you have a garden or plants on a balcony,make sure someone is watering the plants regularly or put the plants where they cant be seen..Plants slowly dying due to lack of water may announce your absence..

Roller Derby Shoe (SIZING)

The correct size is obviously the starting point when purchasing a new pair of skates.A skate shoe should fit your foot like a pair of shoe's.So you should always allow between 1/4" to 1/2".Depending on whether your foot is still growing.
If your a woman,make sure you pay close and special attention to the sizes that are available in each model. Some of the skates come in men's or ladies sizes,but some are only available in men's size.
You may need to go one size down if you have to purchase a men's size shoe.
Take note.. some model brands run a little large or small..If purchasing a custom package, you may want to just order the boot only,so it can be returned if you need a different size..
Also.. most importantly .. Be sure your new skates fit right before you go skating on them..(its very very hard to make a return (as new) after you skate on it.. and realize its to tight or loose...
